It’s awesome the way Jesus didn’t complicate His commission, and yes, made it attainable for each and everyone of us.

When He said to follow Him and that He would make us “fishers of men” He simply meant He will take us, just as we are, shape us and transform us – turning us into fishers of men

It’s not a gift nor is it a calling – it’s simply what we become as we continue to follow Him. As we become more Christlike, regardless of our past or even our state of mind – we’ll naturally draw people to Him.

So yes, it’s now extremely important that we become conscious of our purpose in life – it’s the framework for all our actions.

As Believers, we should be aware that we too have been called and commissioned. This is crucial for the motivation of the work we do and for our ability to withstand the burdens of the day.  Having a  “sense of mission” may sound a little far fetched, and yes, if we feel  “hoity-toity”  because of it –  it just may be that we’ve chosen our mission, all on our own.

However, what we must state mindful to remember – there’s such a thing as a God-given commission and a purpose in life for each of us.

All we have to do to find it –  is to ask and then listen, for yes, He’ll direct us every single time.

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period

“As He was going along by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.  Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”  Mark 1: 16-17
