Everything changed in the springtime of Mary’s youth.
Suddenly she is standing on history’s center stage, and yes, Joe the carpenter is an epic figure in biblical history.
Their journey began at the place of total surrender, their obedience was silent, and yes, instant. No questions asked. No moment wasted. It wouldn’t be the last time they would have to die to self, for yes, three times that angel visited Joe in a dream and with each time, his cross grew heavier.
Jesus tells us, that yes, we must daily take up our cross daily, and no, this was not an option for Him, nor was it to Mary and Joseph, and no, it doesn’t have to be for us either.
We simply get up each day, we step out in faith, and yes, we embark on His intentional journey, that yes, He has planned specifically for each one of us, while all the while, trusting in this truth.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
