We can search for hope in the strongest of places and in the best of people, and yes, they’ll fall one by one – for only our God suffices.
He doesn’t look at the external qualifications men look at in choosing the best people for the job – He knows better.
He knows He can bestow all the right things to anyone. He looks for one quality we often fail to see – He looks at the heart.
He looks at our willingness to do good and to put our trust in Him – He looks at our willingness to be used for the best possible intentions He could ever have for us.
So yes, we can all take heart – He is no respecter of persons – He uses even the weakest among us in order to accomplish His greatest plans.
It’s not how we look or how strong or talented we are – age doesn’t even matter.
All that really matters is that we’re willing – that’s all that is asked of any of us.
The bottom line is – everything we face takes us back to love – and we are loved.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
