On the Seventh Day of Christmas, My True Love Gave to Me
Seven Swans a-Swimming.
It would take someone quite familiar with the Bible to identify this gift.
Hidden in the code are the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit – prophecy, ministry, teaching, exhortation, giving, leading, and compassion.
As swans are one of the most beautiful and graceful creatures on earth, they would seem to be a perfect symbol for the spiritual gifts.
Since we are made in the same image as those seven swans a swimming – we have the gift – we just need to focus on the direction God is directing us and how He would like for us to use it – to bring Him the glory He so well deserves.
So yes, with this new 2023 about to unfold, let’s pay attention to what He says – for we know that we know that we know – He has a dream for our life, and yes, by involving Him more in the equation – we’re just that much closer to fulling that dream.
With Him there is no partiality.
As we each sit down with a notepad making our new notes for a new year – let’s ask Him to reveal to us what He’d like for us to work on in the new year to come.
It’s through the scriptures that He gives us, that we can ask Him to show us specifics of which way to go, along with – the changes we need to make to walk the path before us.
It’s an amazing journey when we walk with Him – for it’s true – He can and He will, specifically speak into our life, if and when, we take the time to seek Him, and listen to Him.
Let’s start the new year off right by inviting Him into our process, for yes sweet friends – we can fully trust Him as our guide to success.
In reality, we all just want to be a little better each day.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened” Matthew 7: 7-8
