We had the pleasure of being invited to Tim Jaclson’s “Storytellers Tour” at Stinky’s Bait Shack last night. Ofcourse as most of us know that know Tim – he’s a talented, humble and kind man – and let me tell you – he sure has some talented songwritng and singing friends.
It reminded me all over again, that yes – when we sit and listen to song – there’s a writer behind that song. A human with a heart and soul that hears and sees what we do not – and then – they put on paper and into a lyric – then off we all go to that wonderful feeling in our very souls.
We go to that place of memories and admoration – a chuckle and cry falls on us – as we hear the songwriter’s stories and the passion in their voices.
It’s a wonderful thing to experience and I highly reccomment it.
It’s creates a sense of gratitude in our heart, and yes – gratitude is a wonderful antidote to depression – It lifts us out of our small self and gives us an expanded view – and that sweet friends – is how much God loves us.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
