I love the Lord with all my heart – I don’t make any bones about it.
And no – living as a Believer isn’t some kind of narcotic that dulls us into obedience – it involves battle, and yes, we have to give up control, which yes – can be very difficult – to say the least.
So yes, this is exactly why we should never feel troubled when we’re struggling.
To struggle doesn’t mean we’ve become hardened – it simply means – we’re alive and we’re focused on doing things His way.
Yes – there’s plenty of other options out there that want to control us, but friends, trust me when I say – it’s by His grace and our own struggle that He’s Our Lord – and yes – we should only want Him at the drivers seat.
After all – He’s earned it, and yes – He totally deserves it simply because of who He is. He knows He’s the only one in this universe that can control us without destroying us.
No one will ever love us like Him – no one will ever know us better -nor care more for our total well being. Think about it – His last breath that He breathed on this earth was for you and I – and although it may sounds crazy – it’s truth.
He’ll meet us wherever we are – doing whatever it is we’re doing to help us – He’s not intimidated by our past mistakes and failures – nor our broken promises and wounds.
If He was – I for one would still be walking around aimlessly distraught. He makes sense of our brokenness, while yes, transforming us to be more of ourselves than we’ve ever been before.
So yes – with all our tasks ahead, let’s grab hold of His love – let’s put Him in the drivers seat – and let’s ride – for the time of our lives.We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
