Happy Mother’s Day Mom’s!

Today is a day dedicated to each of us to take the time to say thank you to our mom in a special way, and yes, as most of us understand, she wasn’t or isn’t perfect, and no, she didn’t or doesn’t do everything right.  Oh but yes, she did give us life, and yes, like most mothers, she’s sacrificed in some form or fashion for us while doing what she could to prepare us to be loving and caring people.

That’s just a few of the reasons why it’s so fitting that the last words of the book of Proverbs ring so true.  For no, they don’t extend praise to God, nor do they exalt manhood – rather, they speak of the beautiful, and yes, indispensable role that women play in God’s creation.

Think about it, it’s after 30 chapters of directions on living the good, godly, and yes, noble life that this great book closes with these words to the godly woman written below.

As a mother myself, to a wonderful son – I’m truly humbled and totally amazed that God took the time to express His love and respect in His Word for each of us as mother’s.

So yes,  today and everyday, to all you lovely “moms” and  “step in moms” out there – we say thank you.

Thank you for all you’ve done to prepare your children to be good men, and yes, good women of the next generation – you do absolutely “rock” !

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period.

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:   “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”   Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;  but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.  Honor her for all that her hands have done,  and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.   and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”   Proverbs 31: 28-31
