We’ve all had the kind of days when we get up, we start our day, we’re totally focused on moving along in our walk of faith, all is well and we’re following the path we feel God has laid out before us – then ” wham ” we’re faced with a dead end.
We were so sure this was the way. In our minds, it seemed to be laid out so perfectly.
However, we hit that stump and we were thrown for a loop.
This is the place where our faith kicks in and we keep moving forward in that faith, trusting that He is making the way for us, and this is just a little detour, while all the while, staying mindful of this truth – “when we don’t see a way, we know that we know that we know, He will make a way'”
We trust that as we head down the path before us, and no – understanding in not required.
We must be patient and trusting, for He knows what He’s doing and He has our best interest at heart. We can’t see the end result but He does. All those problems, all those heartaches, all those delays, all those things before us that are baffling will indeed, one day be clear in the light of His unconditional and remarkable love.
So yes, we keep moving forward, we make informed decisions, we work diligently and we stop debating, for we are grateful for the blessings we receive as we’re learning to trust Him with our whole hearts and with our whole minds.
Today is a new day.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart .. and do not lean on your own understanding .. in all your ways acknowledge Him .. and He will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5
