Light over Darkness

Friends .. not only does God want us to get “real” with Him .. but yes .. He wants us to get “real” … haha .. with ourselves ..  for the truth is .. He can’t heal our heart until we can say how we feel without feat of retribution or  rejection .. and yes .. I totally get it .. and yes .. I understand .. how early on in our lives many of us have learned that when we talk about our feelings .. we yes .. have suffered the wrath or displeasure from someone who had power over us .. so  .. we’ve simply learned to slowly stuff our feelings into that secret place and tell people what they want to hear .. haha .. while all the while .. those feelings .. get a little deeper and deeper into the dark .. for no .. we certainly can’t tell people the truth .. no way .. it’s not always pretty .. and yes .. that makes them uncomfortable .. and yes ..  makes us feel ashamed .. however .. this pattern at some point must stop .. simply because .. it’s important to talk about how we feel .. and no .. it may not always be pretty .. but yes .. it’s something we can’t hide .. for when we do .. we reach out for those things that won’t do anything for us .. but hurt us .. and yes .. this goes on until we lose touch with those feelings within .. simply because  .. we’re constantly covering them up and shoving them into that dark place .. and yes ..  as we all know .. Light is the answer to darkness .. so yes sweet friends .. when we find ourselves lonely .. or yes .. maybe feeling a little sorry for ourselves .. it’s then .. we reach out to the Light .. we talk to Him .. and yes .. He answers us with love .. and yes .. the healing begins .. for yes .. we’ve now given up on the lie .. we can see for ourselves just how we feel .. and yes .. we can give those feelings without fear of judgment .. to Him .. and yes .. in turn .. He gives us that supernatural  comfort .. which yes .. gives us the strength and courage to make the shift .. for the better .. for yes sweet friends .. He is love .. through and through .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
