The scripture below is a long time favorite for most of us who’ve read it. and yes, somewhat understand its meaning and power. It’s talks about trust, for yes, trust is an important part of this verse. However, there’s another dimension to the verse that’s easily overlooked, and no, is simply not always so easy to do.
I’m talking about the line that states, “lean not on your own understanding”, in which yes, is very easy for any of us, to simply, blow right past.
These verses, they’re about sustainment, faith. and yes, direction. God Himself promises, that if we trust in Him, He’ll make our paths straight. He doesn’t say that we’ll understand what’s going on, and no, He doesn’t even say He’ll give us what we want. Oh but friends, what He does say, is that yes, He’ll make our paths straight, and yes, that He’s with us every step of the way.
So yes, just because we don’t necessarily understand what’s going on this very moment, it doesn’t mean He’s abandoned us, for the truth is, there are times when He reveals His answers to us right away, and yes, there are times, we simply have to wait, and yes, it could be years. We may not even get the answer until we meet Him face to face, at which time, we won’t even care.
So yes, with this understanding, they’ll be no more temper tantrums allowed, and no, no more trying to take back control of our lives, for yes, gratefully we know that we know that we know, we have a loving, gracious, and yes, forgiving Savior. When we’re discouraged, angry, and yes, ready to take control of our life, this sweet friends, is when we most definitely need to cast our burdens upon Him. Trusting simply, that no, we may not understand the answer, however, we don’t really need to have the answer.
Bottom line. He assures us, that yes, we always have the comfort in knowing that He’ll sustain us, and no, He’ll never ever abandon us. So yes, we hang in there, for yes, we’re all in this together, and yes, we’re all over-comers, through Him, who is yes, love Itself. And friends, with this knowledge, there’s only one thing left to say.
Come on now, let’s do this, for yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
