Friends, from the devastating storm that hit to the east of us, mixed with the holidays, and yes, the life changes many have experienced, it’s true, that yes, feelings have been hurt, and yes, many have been left to feel alone, and yes, this makes us mad.
Even with knowing in our heart of hearts that God is our refuge and strength, we’re still left with anger.
Oh but friends, this doesn’t make us bad people, for the truth is, no matter how solid our spiritual ground, we may still feel an overwhelming desire at times to punish or get even with someone who has hurt us, for yes, we want revenge, we want them to hurt like they hurt us, we want life to deal them just rewards, and yes, we would love nothing more, than to yes, help life out.
So yes, it’s in knowing and understanding this truth that we must not fret nor be too hard on ourselves, for yes, these feelings are normal, and yes, a part of our anger. Yet, we can’t act on them. It’s simply not our job. So yes, we allow ourselves to feel the hurt, and then, we simply walk away, we learn the lesson, and yes, we actually thank the other person for having taught us something valuable along our way.
Bottom line. We accept and we forgive, for yes, it’s then, we’re all set free to walk our own paths, and yes, it’s on this path that Jesus waits patiently for our return. He hasn’t left us, no way, however, He does allow us to work through our emotions, deal with them as we should, and yes, make full circle back around.
Personally, I find this a somewhat funny, as yes, I feel like the queen of full circle. I believe in my heart that if we can allow ourselves to come back around, and yes, see things as they really are, then yes, we’re busy trying to make it work, and no, we’re simply no longer walking away, we’re simply no longer angry, for yes, we’ve now allowed Him to fill us with His love, fill us with His mercy, and yes, fill us with His grace.
Yes sweet friends, we can all be grateful this morning to know that we know that we know, we serve a God of love, and yes, He loves us big, with all our quirks and all our emotions, for no, His love never fails, and yes, always and forever .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
