Last night Eric Lindell played at Stinky’s Bait Shack. And as most of us around here do, we love his music. We love the way it makes us feel, and yes, if he’s playing close by we’re going to get there and we’re going to dance.
It was so good to see everyone, and yes, together have a big night of dancing fun. Three hours of nonstop movement.
As I sit here this morning, seeking God and what He has for us today, while yes, sharing with Him the fun we had last night. I’m actually finding it easy to imagine Him dancing too, I can see Him in His incredible light, spinning around with great energy and joy, full of His Glorious Self, for no, He doesn’t need music, He is the Music,
I can barely sit still just thinking about it.
Oh but friends, we can also picture this, we can see Him taking us by the hand for a slow dance, holding us close to Him, so close that we can hear His strong heartbeat, for yes, that’s how close He wants us to be. He wants you and I to hear His heart beating with love, for yes, each and everyone of us.
That steadfast love that He so graciously gives, for yes, He is Love, and yes, He loves us big.
With this knowledge, there’s no better reason to dance. So yes, let’s get up and dance before the Lord with all our might, for yes yes yes, He’s so worthy of our honor, and yes, so worthy of our praise.
Bottom line. Every minute of every second of every day, we can trust, that yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
