As like many of you, I’ve been in the hospitality business in some form or fashion most all of my life.  I’m blessed to have a good work ethic, in which I can attribute to my parents, and yes, in turn feel it’s been passed on to my son as well.

When I looked at the picture Donald posted the other day of him and I and our first trailer I was overwhelmed with gratitude.

Gratitude for where we are today, and yes, gratitude for those who have helped us along the way to get to this place.  So many of you, from Hibiscus to Monet Monet, back to Hibiscus and now, back to Monet Monet have followed and supported us as we’ve worked and built. I never dreamed we’d have a warehouse full of rentals and equipment that would allow us to work anywhere we need to work, nor a kitchen big enough to feed an army.

My son had a vision of where he felt we needed to be, to be all we could be, for our sweet family.  We are blessed indeed.

So yes, as  I sit here this morning thinking, my mind keeps going to our team. To all of you who have worked with us, helped us build, and yes, helped us grow.  You’ve not only helped us grow in business, but as individuals. Giving us insight on human nature as well as insight within ourselves.  We’re eternally grateful for each person that’s passed through our doors, no matter the position or the circumstance.

And then we have those of you, who yes, have been with us from the beginning of time, as well as those, who we feel have been with us since the beginning of time..  Friends till the end, the humbled hearts and broken spirits of time worn on.  We fit together like glue.  We allow one another to have our bad days, our melt downs, and yes, our tantrums, while simply doing all we can to help each other through whatever it is we’re going through.

Simply because we know,  we’re all going through something, and yes, we’re all fighting our own battles.

To know and understand this fact, is a gift straight from God.  It’s easy to walk away and forget the ones you left. For the truth is, it can be hard to stay and work through whatever it is that needs to be worked through.  Oh but friends, I can personally attest, that yes, working through things is what makes us better.  We learn to understand, that yes, we’re all only human, and that no, a bad day, a melt down nor a tantrum, can replace the people we truly love and that love us.

So yes, I’m grateful this morning of what we’ve accomplished as a family.   I’m grateful to be the full circle queen.  And yes, it’s with a humble heart that I can say,  thank you, thank you, and yes, thank you again.

Bottom line .. God is a faithful. He sees through.  He is the very essence of love.  He loves us big.  And yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken”  Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
