His Masterpiece

It’s choice not chance that determines our destiny.  It’s up to each and everyone of us to decide just what our worth is, and yes,  just how we matter and just how we can make meaning in this world we live.

There’s not another single soul that has our gifts, our talents, our ideas or our interests.  Each of us are original, for yes, we’re God’s masterpiece.

We’ll all find that some of the “realities” in our lives can be somewhat disturbing.  However, even in the chaos of many of those days we’ve been through, there have been lessons.

Lessons of faith, lessons of hope, and yes, lessons of change.

It doesn’t matter what’s happened to us, it only matters what we do with what’s happened to us.   Kind of like a game of poker.  We can’t choose the hand we’re dealt, however, we can choose how we’re going to play our hand. We can’t be afraid of making another mistake, that we think, could completely ruin our lives, for no, there’s no such thing.

The truth is, the mistakes we’ve made in the past that we feared would bring complete downfall, only brought on change.  So no, we can’t worry people won’t like us, nor can we allow ourselves to thing we’re not smart enough, or even good enough.

For we know, that yes, life can and will kick us around a bit, and yes, at times we may very well be, our very own kicker.

So no matter the stance, we must keep our bounce, and yes, enjoy the ride.   We’re not trying to fill anyone else’s shoes, for the world doesn’t need us to be another somebody.  What the world needs is for us to be, what God created us to be, and that sweet friends, is simply ourselves.

We are His beloved and original masterpiece, and yes, our job is to share with those we meet, what a true Artist He really is. After all,  He is love, and yes, He loves us big, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
