When we finally come to realize just what God’s purpose is for our lives, our hearts become full and our mind are at peace.
This doesn’t always come suddenly or dramatically the way it happened to Paul on the road to Damascus. There isn’t always visions or fire written on the wall. No, most of us just search for Him as we grope along through life, that yes, can be filled with accidents and false goals.
The truth is, often we sense our purpose, then it’s diminished by the sometimes cruel business of everyday life.
Yet, He keeps up with us – His floundering creatures of the world.
This portrait of my half face which was given to me on my birthday by the artist himself, Gene Gust. Most of you will recognize the half face from the many selfies I take throughout my days.
What you don’t see in this particular picture, that yes, you see in most pics posted, are the people behind me.
These people whether they are family, friends, co-workers or total strangers, are the reason I take the many selfies I take.
It’s in honor of each and everyone of you, for yes, you are the ones that help make me see the purpose for which I live. You are the reason that we’re successful in what we do, and yes, you are the reason for what we do.
Our lives should be lived as vessels to Him who is love. We can share this simple and glorious love in many ways – mine just happens to be with selfies, and yes, I’m grateful for each and every one that I’m able to take.
Friends, we’re meant to make a contribution to the world , and yes, we must strive to do it well. We’re to do it with faith and patience and with all our strength and passion, for yes, it’s in doing so that we’ll discover who we really are.
A child of the King whose royal blood flows through our veins.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
