When life isn’t flowing just like we’d like it, and no, we aren’t truly trusting God – it becomes very easy to try and take the wheel from Him, and yes, boss Him around, while yes, try to force Him to do things our way.
However, this will only land us in an emotional, and yes, spiritual ditch. The truth is, we need Him to drive, for when we do so, and yes, when we completely trust that He knows best, it’s then, that we’re able to rest, and yes, cease striving.
We can’t hold the steering wheel and let Him drive at the same time. Not if we want to experience the peace that comes from trust. No, we have to let go of the wheel, for it’s when we trust, and yes, actually let Him drive, that we’ll simply find, a natural rest, followed by, pure contentment rather than emotional and spiritual fatigue.
He made us to lean on Him – to let Him take the wheel. It’s when we allow Him to do this, that yes, we become overwhelmed with peace and contentment, and yes, have the confidence to know that we know that we know, we’re exactly where we need to be, doing what we need to do, while yes, fulfilling the role in which He created for us.
So yes, we usher in that deep contentment as we travel our journey before us. We find, that yes, confidence in His love is always coupled with trust. And yes, when love and trust are combined, they’re like a match to faith – setting our confidence on fire, so that we can ride anywhere He takes us, without fear nor panic.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period.
