Most of us live each day like a juggler on tight rope. Constantly balancing those plates of responsibility, while yes, doing all we can to keep them from crashing down in one big heap on the floor.
Sounds entertaining, yet, when we’re in the midst of that balancing act, we don’t find it so much that way. However, we can balance those plates, by yes, simply asking God for help to evaluate our priorities.
The truth is, when we put Him first in our lives, it doesn’t mean He’s the biggest and heaviest plate we have to carry, no, it means He’s there to help us carry the plates, while all the while, helping us to see which ones are even worth the juggling act itself.
So yes, as we start this new day, kicking off the new week ahead, let’s lay our plates before Him, and yes, ask Him for the wisdom to know which plates to pick up first, which plates to put off til later, and yes, even which ones we should simply toss.
He is the only One that can truly help us weigh out what’s really worthy of our time, and yes, of our heart. Jesus Himself was never in a hurry. He didn’t rush around, He didn’t fret, and no, He never worried one single minute about what He was going to take care of next.
He simply took each days duties, as each day brought them, and yes, the rest He left to God. So yes, we should certainly we do the same. After all, we are made in His image, and yes, called to be His imitators.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
