As I sit here this morning thinking and praying on which way to go and what to do next, I’m reminded again just how good God is. I’m reminded that in the strain of everything around us, He’s here to lift us up, and yes, protect us, even from ourselves, haha, that is, if we let Him. The truth is, we are, most of the time, our own worst enemy, we sabotage ourselves with our own actions. No, we never mean to do this, but yes, we do it over and over and over again. We do it in the name of love, and yes, we do it in the name of justice, for yes, we just want to help. However, sometimes, we simply need to focus on the do’s and don’ts of life.
This may sound like rambling, but there’s someone out there who knows and understands this confusion that goes on within our minds. So yes, this is what we do. We stop where we are, and yes, we praise Him for all our many blessings. We lift up someone in need, whether it be friend or foe, and yes, we ask Him to bless them and keep them under His protective wings. We ask Him to touch the lives of those around us who are struggling, who have lost their homes, and yes, who have no food to eat, and yes, we ask Him to bless those who despitefully use us. For yes, we’re still standing, and yes, we know that we know that we know, no matter how hard it is right now, it can always be harder.
We cannot and will not, fall into the enemy’s trap, for yes, it’s when we take our eyes off ourselves, and yes, place them where they need to be, we’ll see, as we’ve seen hundreds of times before, that yes, everything has a way of working itself out, for yes, we’re loved by love Himself, and no sweet friends, it simply can’t get any better than that .. for yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.
