Through everything and anything we go through in life – we have a choice. We have a choice to face whatever it is with the mindset that God is going to see us through, or yes, let the enemy win.
We can throw down, we can pitch fits, and yes, we can be mad at someone for no reason in particular. However, what we cannot do, is continue to act ugly on a regular basis. We must, at the first sign of allowing the enemy to make us look a fool, or yes, hurt or disappoint those we love, we need to – STOP – turn ourselves around, and yes, get back in the direction that we know He wants us to go.
We all know that acceptance is the answer, and that yes, love and forgiveness is the way to get us there. We can’t control people, we can’t make people do what we want them to do, nor can we make them think the way we think.
The truth is – we should not want anyone to conform to our way if it’s not their way. We’ve all been made individually with different thought patterns, different designs and different personalities. This is what make us all “unique” – this is what we love in one another – this is the handy work of God.
Bullying and bickering is not from Him. It is not something we need to partake in at any point or time. So yes, we sit back, we do what we’re comfortable doing, and no, if we’re not comfortable – we simply just don’t do it.
From the sign I spent so many years writing on at Hibiscus, and that yes, continues to give us a fresh reminder daily to ponder, please allow me to quote a few simple words: Be Respectful, Be Trusting, Be Tolerant, Be Mindful, Be Loyal, Be Kind, Be Kinder, and yes, most importantly – BE Grateful.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
