We all make mistakes. Lord knows I’ve made my share, and yes – some have certainly been bigger than others.
What I have learned through most of these mistakes I’ve made – is simply – we need to laugh at them rather than carry the burden of self importance along with the need to justify every choice we make.
The truth is – we’re free to make mistakes and we’re free to try new things – oh yes – we’ll win some and we’ll lose some, but that’s okay – because laughing at our own mistakes actually allows us to view them as opportunities to learn and grow – rather than disasters to deny and defend.
Friends, life is a process of learning – and God knows our heart – He knows the mistakes that we make are part of the process.
So yes – we forgive ourselves as He forgives us.
We’re like children stumbling as we learn to walk – we fall down and we pick ourselves back up – and yes – with our head held high we keep moving, while finding again and again- that life is a series of mistakes accompanied by the chance to shine as we move through them.
We are loved by love HImself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
