Putting the past in the past is the way it’s suppose to be – if it wasn’t so, we’d all remember a whole lot more than we do.

So yes, whether it was yesterday, last year, or, even thirty years ago – we have to let it go.

The truth is, just as our memories fade, the actual account of what happened will too. What we need to remember is, the past only has an impact on the present. And no, we cannot continue to waste our powerful thoughts and energy on something that no longer exists (other than in our own mind), for yes, whatever it was that happened – it’s over now.

And yes, no matter how uncomfortable it was for us, we need to come to the understanding that at some level we chose it, and yes, that choice, it’s helped build our character, and yes, it’s made us stronger.

So, whenever we find ourselves wondering why something turned out the way it did, we can trust, that no, we don’t know the “big picture”.

And the beauty of this is – we don’t really need to know.

Bottom line – even though we may feel sad about a certain event in our past, we can make the decision to accept the realization that there is a higher order to things, and yes, God will see that something good comes from it all, for yes, that’s what He does.

We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
