Last evening we gathered together to celebrate a friendship over an incredible Private Chef Dinner in our catering kitchen, prepared by our incredibly talented Chefs. We planned it in detail so our friend didn’t know what was happening, as yes, he is this kind and gentle spirited person that doesn’t need nor care for attention drawn to himself.
We had no idea who was coming, as Diane was in charge of the guest list. So yes, as you can imagine, to our pleasant surprise, these people in this picture are who showed up.
As they began coming in, memories of each of them, in my own memory bank began to make my heart swell and become so full that I felt like I was about to burst. I have to say, I love every face and every heart in this picture.
As we sat there sharing stories from way back, talking about things we don’t talk about everyday, and yes, praising God for the many blessings He has blessed us all with, I was reminded again, that yes, when our hearts are right, our world is right.
This is the beginning of all reform, for the truth is, it’s not what happens to us in life, but yes, how we handle what happens to us in life. It doesn’t matter the circumstances, we can always look within and do everything we can to make right anything that’s not in order, and yes, as we improve ourselves, our outward circumstances seem to always change for the better.
Friends, God’s power is within each of us, and no, we simply must not imprison it. So yes, we share His love, and yes, we truly live our lives, free of those things that want to bind us.
It’s a beautiful feeling to be a part of a group of people who love God, and yes, love one another, and do it all, in spite of and not because of.
So yes, as I reflect this morning on the wonderful evening we had together, it’s again we can all say, that yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period!
