The real test of knowing God comes from whether we’re actually using the love from Him to loves others.
Not just the ones we find easy to love – but also the ones that rub us the wrong way – the ones where we find fault.
This does not mean we are to enable anyone, no – this is not true love.
So yes – it’s urgent to deal with bitterness and an unforgiving heart immediately – for we know that we know that we know – they are totally opposite to His beautiful heart of love.
And no – we don’t have to make up a love that doesn’t exist – we live the life of love by faith.
When we encounter situations where we know we cannot love on our own – we simply trust Him for the love that we need.
Meaning – we just may have to cry out to Him, telling Him of our desperate situation, our inability and sometimes unwillingness to do the right thing – then simply plead for His love to totally take over our very being.
For it is then and only then – we have allowed Him to get the glory, and friends – He deserves the glory in each and every thing we do.
If we do good.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
