The shepherds were immobilized as the angel appeared in the field
The air itself was the music of the angels – their shepherd legs became light, and yes, they saw the fires of Bethlehem – where they knew they would find Mary and Joseph and the baby – His name will be Jesus – the Creator of the Universe.
The One who has the power to create life from nothing – the power to destroy the universe with a breath – the One who chose to take upon Himself – His own personal set of finger prints.
It’s hard to understand that God Himself dwelt among us – however, it’s by our unshakable faith, that yes, our hearts acknowledge this historical event.
The truth is – Christmas demands faith, and no, there’s no reason to even try to understand how God could have loved us to such a degree, for we never will – it’s simply in our faith, and yes, in our hope, that yes, we put our trust in Him.
Which yes – makes for a full and happy heart.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
