Many of us have been raised to believe that we should be strong and self sufficient all the time, and yes, that we’re weak and shameful if we ask for help.
The truth is, in God’s economy it takes both giving and receiving to create a balanced life. When we give too much without receiving we become exhausted and depleted. So yes, we must simplify our lives, learn to receive as well as to give. We are to do this, without guilt our shame.
We ask for help when we need it, just as we delight in helping others. We allow others to help us, while putting false pride aside, which in turn, allows Him to send us His ministering angels.
Grateful hearts know the truth, the simple truth, that yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.
