There’s something to be said about being direct. On one hand the directness of someone can be a little brass, yet on the other hand – direct people are a joy to be around.
There’s no games, no bullying, no whining – just plain facts and feelings.
Facts and feelings are important and as God’s people should be honest with one another. We should talk things through and yes – we should listen.
It’s when we run our own way with no direction that we find ourselves in trouble, we find ourselves lost and we find ourselves going in circles complaining about every little thing that pops up.
It’s when we find ourselves joining together with like minded people that life becomes easier for us. We become that person that sees no problems, only solutions, and then – peace takes over.
We’re now in a place where He can real us into safety in this life we’ve so graciously been given.
So yes, we strive for honesty, we strive for directness and we strive for clarity. We do this in all our communications, while always staying mindful of the fact that directness in our relationships, does indeed – begin with us.
It’s a new day – may we all be filled with joy and happiness no matter what we’re facing, for the truth is – it’s good to be alive.
