We need to ‘find our balance’ – I hear these words and wonder sometimes what this really means, However, this morning I’m discovering myself just how easy it is, and yes, I can do this simply by getting back to the basics – back to where it started and keep pressing on with a renewed and refreshed mindset.
Oh and that word, mindset – what does this really mean?
As we all know. most of our battles that take place in life, take place on the battlefield of our own minds. Life is a school filled with many lessons to be learned during each stage of growth. Those of us who have learned our lessons are fortunate enough to move onto the next stage, while others are left to repeat the past.
For me it took a major life change away from the depths of addiction to keep me moving forward.
What we need to remember is – having a defeated mindset is the wrong position to be in when going into battle. The battle usually starts in our mind because of the way we think.
Sometimes perceptions are not the true reality.
If we regularly think about good things – godly thoughts become natural. Countless thoughts flow through our minds every day, but yes sweet friends – we have the choice to stay in a negative place or believe for the best.
And yes, there are times when we may feel we have no control, but we do.
Think about it – we don’t have to use any effort to think wrong thoughts, however – it takes much effort to think good thoughts
So yes, with this truth – we cannot and will not let the enemy count us out, for we are made to win. We have a well equipped army of angels on our side, and each day as we rise, we can let the enemy know , flat out and hands down – he wants no part of us!
