Anger is a strange thing – we must accept and thank it for protecting us, however, we can and should set ourselves another goal – and yes – that’s simply to take our freedom from it.

Once we do – we’ll not need our anger anymore and we’ll begin to achieve true forgiveness. Oh yes, we can be as angry as we need to be – but at some point we must be done with it.

So what to do with those negative emotions – we feel them and then we simply release them, while yes – asking God to help us reach that “freedom” that He so wants us all to have.

We have to remember that the hurt and pain from our past, can yes – disguise itself as anger. It’s so much easier for us to be mad than to look at ourselves and see the truth – then deal with that truth.

I’m the master of this at times – however, through the years, through the ups and downs, through the good and the bad, and yes, through all those right choices and those wrong choices – I’ve learned – emotions are just emotions – they last for a brief moment, and no – anger can no longer have a place in my life.

So we put anger where it belongs – we look at ourselves with honest eyes, we make ammends where we can – and yes – on this very day – we simply get up and we do all we can to “be better” than we were yesterday.

We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control – Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
