I grew up on this coast, but yet – it never ceases to amaze me at all the protected beach along this road.
We call it the “slow road” – it’s those few final miles before getting here that we drive at 25 miles per hour in full anticipation of what the week ahead will bring for us. These weeks never seem to fail us.
Day Three – yesterday was a big day on the island. We took the boat out and spent the day touring from the east to the west. The Blue Angels, as you can see – are incredible as always.
I could write about gratitide again this morning, because yes, it doesn’t take much to see that my heart is full. However, in a concersation I was having yesterday with a dear friend who is perplexed with some aspects in life – got me thinking.
What we all need to remember is – when dealing with people – we are allowed to get our feelings out. We are allowed to take risks and be vulverable with others. We can let our humanity show, and in that process – we give others the permission to be human too.
Friends – we all have not-so-together moments – sometimes falling apart and getting it out – is how we put it back together.
God will always give us the direction to move, the words to speak, and yes – the mindset to speak in a positive way – IF – we let Him.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver” Proverbs 25:11
