Sometimes we’re happy and sometimes, we’re just not. It depends mostly on our circumstances and events, of which by the way, are totally beyond our control. So yes, in reality, it depends on us. It depends on how well we’re doing, on how well we’re taking care of ourselves, and yes, on how well we’re paying attention to other people, besides ourselves.  Oh and yes, it also depends on whether we’re making good choices or not.

The truth is, happiness comes from good fortune, and yes, on the flip side is where we find joy. You know, that glorious feeling that lives deep down in our soul.  Yet, when think about it, we understand, that no, joy’s not a feeling, it’s a virtue, which simply means, it doesn’t come over us like a feeling does in response to the coming and going of life.

It’s a fruit of the Spirit, a virtue produced by the work of God’s Spirit to our spirit, through our willingness to let it reshape our perceptions and intentions. So yes, because joy is a virtue, it’s simply not dependent on circumstances or events.

No sweet friends, joy is not a response to life, but yes, it’s a way of life. So no, there’s simply no reason to do anything other, than to live and move through life, joyfully, in spite of not because of.  For yes, it’s His way, and yes, as we all know, there is no better way.  For yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period

Godspeed Sweet Friends

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no law”
