This morning my mind is on generosity — that way of thinking and looking at life situations.
When we have a generous attitude, we become willing to think the best of others, giving them the benefit of the doubt even when we don’t agree with them. We reflect God’s generosity and forgiveness because we believe He can, and will, work all things together for good.
An openhanded, open-hearted generosity leaves room for Him to work in any situation.
As generous people, we learn to live from the heart. We’re willing to share our resources with others, because we know a pinched attitude closes us off, while a generous attitude allows simple abundance to flow freely.
So we express our generosity through simple acts of kindness. And today, sweet friends, I think we can all agree that our hearts are full — simply because of the kind, generous souls He has placed in our lives. Always and forever.
