How many times have we had the sentiment, “shame on you” aimed our way, or yes, have said those belittling words ourselves to someone else.
Many times we’ve behaved badly, and yes, need to make amends, yet often, the shame we feel is illegitimate and toxic.
We want goodness from someone else, and yes, they let us down, and then, we feel ashamed. Someone doesn’t like us, and then yes, we feel ashamed. It can be a constant cycle that we simply don’t need to ride.
The truth is, we can be grateful this morning to know, that with God, and yes, in our relationship with Him, there’s never shame.
Our shame has been dealt with once and for all through Christ, so yes, we can now interact without any shame.
In fact, we can look to Him, and yes, depend on Him, while yes, our lives reflect the brilliance of His love.
All simply because, He is love, and yes, He loves us big, and yes, His Word constantly reminds us of the fact, that yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.
