We live in such a way that often we find that we blame other people – we blame circumstances, and yes – we even blame objects for our problems.

Oh but friends – life is full of different people and different situations, some being good and some being not so good. It’s not until we learn to accept responsibility for our own lives that we’ll continue to be at the mercy of circumstances.

So yes – instead of blaming others for what’s wrong in our lives, we need to focus on what we can do to make things better for not only ourselves but for those around us.

Sulking and feeling sorry for ourselves get’s us no where – the truth is – it’s our own responsibility to make ourselves happy, nobody else’s. It’s when we truly begin to appreciate and savor the goodness that God has placed right in front of us, that we’ll find – the joy in every circumstance we encounter, which in turn – gives us new reasons to be happy on a daily basis.

There was a time, not so long ago that I would literally say yes to everything. Any time one of my family, friends or acquaintances asked me to do something, I was down for it – and then – when it came time to actually do it, I’d dread having to keep up with the commitment.

Instead of continuing to be a people pleaser, I say no right away when I know it’s not something I want to spend time or money on – I can honestly say that it’s worked wonders – the drama and chaos are gone, and yes – the folks I am surrounded by – we’re in a really good place.

So – we accept life as it is and people as they are – we don’t have to do anything we don’t really want to do – however, we must always remember, no matter when, what or where – it truly is all about people loving people – just the way God intended it to be.

We are loved by love Himself. He love us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
