This is our GBC core team, and yes, what a wonderful blessing they are to us.
We’re fortunate to have so many like-minded people working with us on a daily basis. Each and every face in the picture has a special meaning to us. Their personalities are different, and yes, each one of them are unique in their own way. Yet together, we’re all the same.
Today is a special day, it’s Andrew’s birthday – he started with us as an Intern. As a matter of fact, we call him “Intern Boy” However, he’s no boy – he’s a wonderful young man who we’re grateful to have on our team. He puts up with me on a daily basis and that in itself is a major task! He’s a team player and will absolutely do anything and everything needed to contribute to our common goal.
Which bring me to thinking about loyalty and just what it means for all of us.
Loyalty is simply a remaining committed to those whom God has brought into our lives, and yes, has called us to serve even in times of difficulty. It’s developing dedication and respect in one another, and no, not seeking to manipulate the other person. Being loyal exhibits our commitment to Him by our commitment, with discernment to people, and yes, noble causes at all times.
So with that – I’d like to say Happy Birthday Andrew. You’re loyalty and dedication does not go unnoticed. Your coworkers love you – Scooter loves you, and yes, I especially love you.
