After months and months of tests to develop an electric light-bulb – Thomas Edison was interviewed by a reporter who asked him if he had ever felt like a failure – as well as – if he thought he should just give up.
Edison replied -“Young man, why would I feel like a failure? and why would I ever give up? I definitively now know over 9,000 ways that an electric light bulb will not work – so yes, success is almost in my grasp”
And true it was – after over 10,000 attempts – Edison successfully invented the light bulb.
Point being – we make sound new year resolutions, and no, we don’t quit if it’s a worthy goal.
If it’s worth sticking to – we do it – even if it means starting over a few times. It’s an awesome way to allow God to teach us Patience – Kindness – and Understanding – not only for ourselves – but for everyone we meet.
So yes, here we go – a new year and a new beginning.
May God bless us and keep us – may our lives be filled with our hearts desires – may we all go out and spread love everywhere you go, while all the while – letting no one ever come to us without leaving happier.
