Holding Steady

Life can, and yes will, hit us with one major, or a series of major blows, that can bring us so far down into depression that we can’t see our way out.  We can do our best to remain positive and hopeful, while yes, giving our best effort to overcome, yet, it’s when we see no good results that we feel like giving up.

There have been many times in most of our lives that we’ve felt like this.  The pain of watching our hopes and dreams vanish, seeing no positive results from our efforts, while yes, disappointing those who love, admire, respect, and depend on us.

It can be hard to bare, yet, we must stay mindful to always go back to the truth, while yes, holding up our sign of trust. We know in our heart, that when those storms come, we can rely on the promises of God – way above our own feelings. 

This can be easier said than done, but we also know –  our own feelings, they’ll try to deceive us, and yes, do all they can to try and make us feel like hope is lost – but it’s not. 

We trust His Word. We know that He keeps His promises, and yes, we know that we know that we know, we can rely on Him while we keep moving forward – even when we can’t see our way.

It’s by moving forward in the face of adversity, that yes, we demonstrate our faith to Him.  It’s in that blind faith that He’ll lead us and guide us in the way we should go, while realizing,  that even when we don’t feel His presence – He’s with us all of the time.

So no, we can’t allow our minds to fret.  When times get really hard, it’s then, we trust Him the most.  For yes, we know from much experience, that yes, He’s going to rise up for us, and yes, He’ll do it every single time.

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
