I woke up to an owl on the balcony railing this morning. As I was reading I kept hearing the hoot hoot, not thinking much about the fact that we’re 20 floors up and not a tree in site, I rolled over to see this magnificent creature looking at me. We locked eyes for a brief moment, and then yes, he spread his wings and flew away.
My first thought, and no, I don’t know why, but it was the commitment from God to keep us strong, and yes, all we have to do, is to wait on Him. Wait for that still small voice of wisdom that He gives each and everyone of us as we travel our journey. We all have our own road in front of us, and yes, when we follow His lead, we’re sure to end up exactly where He wants us to be.
It’s been a beautiful week spent with family and friends. We’ve laughed and enjoyed our time like no other time before. We’ll spend this last day in the sun having fun, while yes, watching the girls swim like like little fish. Enjoying the innocence of being young. My heart is full and I’m grateful to have had this week to store in my memory bank. It will be a treasured one for sure.
So with memories in tow, we all go into another day. We all face many different and difficult challenges. So yes, we need to stay mindful of this fact. We’re in this together. We’re made to share one another’s burdens, sorrows, and yes, joys. We’re made to love and respect each person we encounter along the way. Always remembering, that yes, each of us are fighting our own battles. None of us are perfect, none of us are without pain, and no, none of us can ever be made to feel alone.
Simply because, we’re never alone.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big, and yes, He loves us strong, He’ll take us to where we need to be in an instant, if we let Him, so yes, let’s let Him today.
After all, as we know, that we know, that we know .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
