UPDATE ..
We look at the challenges we face and the problems we have, and yes, many times we feel that to compared to the problems of many of the people around us – ours is like a hang-nail.
Inside we say, “It’s nothing. Don’t bother these people!”
However today, Bob (Robert) and I find ourselves a little bit wiser, for yes, we’ve found through each of you, that no, none of us should ever consider our challenges too small for our friends, or no, too small for our God.
The truth is, and yes, we all have to remind ourselves, that simply, there’s nothing too big for Him, and no, there’s also nothing too small for Him. The simple fact that He cares about the small stuff makes Him even bigger.
So yes, if it matters to us, it matters to Him, and yes, we need to all understand this to the very core of our being.
Maybe everyone else’s prayer requests seem like a huge life challenge, and ours, in our own eyes looks small. However, this doesn’t change the fact, that yes, we all need prayer, but yet, so many times we don’t say a word. It’s not because you don’t believe in God or the power of prayer. It’s because compared to all the other problems around us, our thing seems so much smaller.
So, we keep quiet, and yes, we miss out on the power unleashed through the prayers of our friends.
We miss out on the gift of allowing someone else to help us carry our burden to Jesus. So yes, if it matters to us, it matters to Him.
Our trip to Jacksonville was wonderful. The UF facility was awesome and Bob’s doctor is gentle, smart, and yes, ever so kind. From here we go back in a couple of weeks to have the markers placed for where the treatment will focus. There are two treatment plans, the 4 week study and the 8 week treatment. He’s an excellent candidate for the 4 week study, however, it’s computer generated on who gets in the program. Kind of like the lottery. We’re praying for the lottery hit, but if it turns out to be the 8 week, we’ll move through knowing this is the plan and the way we’re to go. It’ll be hard to be away from home but in the big picture, everything happens in a minute and he’ll be back before we know it. The important part is that it’s treatable and the success rate is huge.
So yes, before we head into our day, I want to personally thank each and every single one of you for showing us love, and yes, for lifting up our sweet Bob’s name. God heard each of your precious hearts, and friends, we are truly humbled and amazed by the great love and encouragement you’ve shown our little family.
You are special, so special that you were placed in front of us, to intercede for us.
So no sweet friends, none of us can ever forget just how special we are in His eyes, and yes, how much it means to those around us when we simply listen with our heart and act upon it accordingly.
Yes, yes yes .. we are loved by love Himself. He loves us big, and yes, He loves us strong, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
