The person we have the most problem with is usually the one we see in the mirror each day – an honest admission most of us have had at one time or another.
Sincerely grieved over our own spiritual shortcomings – over – “doing those things we ought not to have done and leaving undone those things we ought to have done”.
No one was more conscious of this very trait than the apostle Paul, and yes – it’s in this we can take comfort, Never allowing ourselves to be trapped in the enemy’s snare – wallowing in despair is to ignore the limitless liberating grace of God.
So no – we must never linger in spiritual desolation, for yes – there is a way to get rid of our troubles. The simple cry of – “who will rescue me?” – echoes to His throne, and in reply – echoing in our ear is – deliverance and total assurance, which yes – fills our hearts and minds with His sweet perfect peace – that perfect peace that only He can give.
Grateful to have this affirmation on a daily basis – let the dance party begin.
