I absolutely love and adore our vacation time with our little family – we’re not only building life long memories – it also allows us to break away from the usual routine – opening your minds to new experiences, and yes – it’s good for our own well being, while allowing us to bring that goodness home with us.
This point is obvious – but vacations are fun – they give us time to relax and to be silly and laugh together. I can personally tell you this – while we’re away – the load from the daily grind falls from our shoulders and the stress lightens – life at home is filled with responsibilities – on vacay – life can be all joy.
And yes, the Bible says joy is a good thing – happiness fades because it’s a simple feeling, where Joy is deeper – it goes with us. King Solomon – He had it right.
The joy from watching and being with our family brings great delight – afterall – we all work hard, and yes – God only gives us so many days on this earth to enjoy each other – no time for drama, chaos or discontent – no way – we’re spending this time and all the days ahead – full of joy – that joy unspeakable and full of glory.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
“I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun” Ecclesiastes 8:15
