It’s wedding season and we have a big week ahead. And no – it doesn’t matter what the elements may bring during the week or season – we are blessed to know that we know that we know – we have dedicated staff, who yes – will work long hours with much care – even in not so easy conditions.
The truth is – when it’s all said and done, when everyone is happy, and yes – when we’re tired and need rest – we all go back to the truth.
That truth simply being – we’re all God’s children. We have a Father who is worthy of our trust, and yes – even with all our worry over our responsibilities and concerns – it doesn’t change a thing.
So with this as our mindset – we resolve ourselves to give up our illusion of control and rest peacefully in His unfailing care – rather than letting worry consume our nighttime thoughts.
We pray – we lay in the darkness handing over our worries one by one to our faithful Father – rather than trying to grasp them in our powerless hands.
It’s a learning process – yet, it’s a process we can’t fully live without. We’ll find that our nights rest will be peacefully solid as we hand over one by one our concerns to Him – the One who never slumbers – the One who carries our heavy load when it feels it’s more than we can bare.
And that sweet friends – we can forever and always count on.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period.
