Over the years I’ve shared many feelings and emotions. Trying to take what I’ve experienced and turn it into something positive and God guiding for us all. While doing this, I’ve realized just how our lives are truly a mixed up bag, slap full of trial and error, success and failure, and yes, thanksgiving and confession. Yet through it all, God is steadfast in writing His grace upon our hearts.
Oh yes, our behavior matters, one hundred percent, for yes, we always want to live our lives pleasing to Him. However, we make mistakes, some worse than others, yet mistakes all the same. So yes, what we must remember is this simple fact.
Those mistakes do not undermine our message. They simply allow us to flip over to the chapter on forgiveness. And yes, we may try to hide from Him and others when we mess up, but friends, the bottom line will remain the same.
The gospel of grace is a message of honesty and redemption. It’s never based on our perfection. It’s solely based on His love.
So yes, it’s with this fact nestled in our heart, that yes, we can stand tall, with our heads held high, while all the while, pressing on toward the goal that He’s set before us. For yes, we’re all His children, and no, there’s never any partiality shown.
Friends, He is the very essence of love, and yes, He loves us big, and yes, always and forever .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
