Conflict – it’s a miserable state to be in. I’ve visited there and resided there many times in my life. We want so bad to fix things and make them right – we simply want to be heard.

Sometime – that just doesn’t happen.

So yes, we have no other choice than to keep moving carefully with the right mindset – for the truth is, whenever we face out of control situations, we simply tend to go from one extreme to the other.

The more out of control our life gets, the harder we try to control it or worse – we just give up.  We have that old “pity party” where we’re the only one invited.

Oh but friends, both of these reactions to stress are so very foolish, simply because – they don’t work.   Instead of being the victim or the one who is totally controlling – we need to sit down and pray a prayer of surrender.

The stress we’re under is because we’re in conflict with God.  Here we are again trying to control things that only He can control.  So yes, we must well understand – we can’t control anyone or anything in this life.

Not in our past, nor in our future – none of it.   The more we do, the more we’re trying to play His role, and yes, that puts us in opposition with Him.

So yes, we best know – not only are we going to lose that conflict, we’re also going to exhaust ourselves trying to do it.

I don’t know about you, but me – there are already days I’m totally exhausted.  So yes, we wait, and yes, if need be – we wait again.

We wait while God works it out – as He always does.

When we surrender to Him those very things that we’ve been trying take His control of – we’ll simply find – this is the state where our true power resides, and yes, where we long to live out our days.

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period

“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes”   Psalms 37:4-7
