Scripture tells us we “are light”, and yes, just as a flashlight draws power from it’s batteries, we draw power from God.
In light. fear dissipates and our spirits are lifted. We don’t even have to be big to be effective, we just have to be “on”. When we grope in the darkness what we want most is light. Darkness is oppressive and makes us feel heavy.
Oh but light, it pushes it away and provides relief.
So yes, we get up and we face another day. We pursue what is true, right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances. We cannot keep our switch off or hold back as if our batteries have run down.
Our source is the incredible “Light Invisible”, and yes, this is what pleases Him.
We stay on and we stay bright, while all the while. thanking Him for the ability to do so, for yes, He is love Itself, and yes, He loves us big, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
