God is a reconciling God. The Gospel is, at its core, a message of reconciliation.
God brings peace where there was once strife, and yes, kindness where there was once bitterness. He’s done it with us, and yes, He can do it between us, and our neighbors – no matter the shape, the size or the color.
The truth is, if we belong to Jesus, we’re part of His movement – the movement to bring more reconciliation between people and God.
As His messengers, we have the opportunity to share how the life-changing “message” of the Gospel creates a healthy relationship with Him, and yes, healthy relationships between people, no matter who they are.
Our job, as we follow Him step by step, includes reconciliation. A simple form of loving people in sprite of our own selves – respecting one another – just as we are.
His message is a simple message; we all belong with Him together – no separation, no difference in status, nor in worth.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
” And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God” 2 Corinthians 5: 19-20
