The Bible tells us that the Pharisees believed that strict compliance with the law’s detailed instruction is what brings righteousness. Oh but Jesus, He preached a whole different view. Please don’t misunderstand, He absolutely agrees laws are to be obeyed, however, He also said, what truly matters in life is our “heart attitude”. That’s right, He simply wrapped the law in love. According to Him, by loving God, and yes, loving our neighbor, we have fulfilled every command, for yes, love, it’s a serious business to Him, and no, we best not take it lightly.
I don’t know about you, but for me, there have been many times in my life where I have felt so unworthy, and yes, much of the time, brought on by my own actions, and yes, most of the time, left to feel that way by the rejection of other people. Oh but friends, none of that really matters, for yes, it’s when by faith, that we grab hold of His real love, and yes, begin to understand what that truly means, that yes, those feelings of unworthiness are no longer an issue.
The truth is, His righteousness is the bottom line. He has met every requirement of the law for us, and yes, as we keep in step with Him each day, we no longer need to struggle to measure up, no, all we need to do now, is yes, wrap ourselves up in His unconditional love, and yes, simply allow ourselves to be transformed by His Spirit. For friends, without a doubt, our acts of love toward Him, and yes, toward those we meet, totally fulfill every requirement of His law.
So yes, what matters most in this life we live is our heart, not our hands, for yes, He is the Potter and we are the clay. We can wholeheartedly trust and believe, that yes, we are beautiful in Him, so therefore, we get over, and yes, forget about ourselves, haha, and yes, let His glory shine from within, to every single person we meet. For yes yes yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes yes yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
Godspeed Sweet Friends
“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify, this righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe, there is no difference between Jew and Gentile”
