Here we are at the start of a new week – social distancing, stay at home orders in place – and yes, many who are fully quarantined and totally isolated, while yes, fighting this deadly virus.
With this. my mind takes me to something I seem to have repeated, and yes, seem to keep repeating – over and over again.
“Life is change, growth is optional – choose wisely”
And yes, in repeating this again and again – it continues to seem to be perfectly clear, that no, God’s ways of training us, are not our ways – and no, His ways of growing our faith, well, they aren’t either.
There have been, and always will be times when we simply just don’t understand why He doesn’t step in and relieve us when we’re faced with a problem or a heavy heartache. And yes, because of this, there are, and yes, there will be times when we may even give up spiritually because we feel abandoned, and yes, we feel hopeless.
However, please please remember, that yes, it’s in these times that our mindfulness must kick in, and yes, we must trust in the truth – with that truth being, ‘even if we are faithless, He remains faithful’.
Friends, it’s just like Him to always stay on course and because He always stays on course, what we find on our journey, is that yes, it’s often in the hardest times that we find ourselves turning to Him, while no, not wanting anything from Him, instead wanting only – to be with Him.
It’s during these tough times that no matter what we’re thinking or feeling about Him, and no, no matter what He’s allowing to happen in our lives – He’s still always and forever turned toward us.
So yes, we seek Him, we look for Him, and yes, we do this in all the seasons of our lives. For when we do, it allows Him to cut off those dead branches in our hearts and tenderly nurture our growth.
He truly longs to meet us in that simple quiet place where we can flourish like wild flowers under His watchful, and yes, protective care.
So yes, today and all the days to come – be encouraged, while yes, encouraging others – fervently hanging on to our hope, that beautiful soul filled hope, that yes, we can only find in Him.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
