We’ve all been wounded, and yes, have wounded others – with careless, unkind, and yes, downright mean things that were said.

The effects of this kind of behavior on our lives can be unsettling and undeniable – even years later.

The fact of the matter is – not everyone is going to love and encourage us, and yes, many times this will leave us feeling hurt and somewhat less valuable.

We have the power to build up, and yes, we have the power to tear down, and yes – we’ve all done both.

So, it’s with this truth along with the mindset of Christ – we carefully choose the words we speak. We encourage and lift others up – even when we don’t feel like it – or heaven forbid – when we think they deserve it.

Friends, our words have power, and yes, we have the choice whether to use this power for good or bad.

May we all choose – for the good.

We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21
