I woke up this morning and starting looking though my phone at pics we’ve taken since being here, and yes, this pic of these two, on this morning, brings me great joy.
Which now, has me thinking about joy itself.
Joy, it’s a wonderful feeling, however, when we think about it, we understand, that yes, it’s something we choose to express. It’s no pie in the sky, nor does it come and go like the wind. No sweet friends, joy is a matter of attitude that comes from God’s Spirit living within, along with our complete confidence, and yes, trust in Him. It comes from the belief that He’s at work in our lives, that He’s in full control, and yes, that He’s in the midst of whatever has happened, whatever is happening, or yes, whatever will happen, for yes, the foundation and source of this kind of joy, comes from one place and one place only, and yes, that’s from Love Himself, and no, it simply can’t, get any better than that.
So yes, on this glorious Thanksgiving week, in spite of the challenges we’re facing in life, we have so much to be thankful for. And now, we add joy to the list, for yes, it’s there to draw on at anytime we choose. For yes yes yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes, He loves us big .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
