For whatever reason, we get this picture in our mind of what a perfect relationship should look like. Only it doesn’t always turn out like we thought it would, for yes – people fail us and they disappoint us.

Yet, it’s when we stop to remember that no one is perfect that our lives become richer – we simply need to exercise forgiveness.

The truth is, no one human group of people can fulfill all our needs. When we expect too much out of the people around us, we in turn glorify them, and yes, we will inevitably be disappointed by them.

So we stop, and yes, we stay mindful to remember that our hope is not in people – it’s in God.

He can and He will fill any void within, and yes, He’s faithful when others fail us. So when we’re looking for that perfect relationship – we can look to the One who is enough for us all.

While all the while – allowing Him to teach us how to truly love, in spite of and not because of.

We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period

“Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him” Psalm 34:8
